Maga Companies

Implementing Segment reporting analytics for the MAGA company.

Issues:

The global advertising giant was planning to report its cloud revenue separately to the public for the first time plus it switched its ERP from Oracle to SAP and wanted to have multiple analytic reports delivered from scratch. The challenge was to formulate the problem statement, define business requirements, design reports and work with the development team to get it delivered and validate and confirm the numbers are hundred percent accurate.

Solution:

Our Experts met with the top-level leadership and understood what needs to be done, analyzed the raw data, designed ETL using proprietary tools for data security initially with the current ERP system and later with new ERP system, prototyping of multiple Analytics reporting, development and validation with hundred percent accuracy.

Impact:

The Segment Analytics Reports are used by the Finance team during its quarterly and annual public reporting.

HONAAR-HOSTING

Implementing HONAAR Solution for Draft Brewing Company of flow/process manufacturing.

Issues:

India’s largest Brewery UB’s subsidiary- a non-accelerated Filer had a mandate to implement ERP based system and SOX compliance in 3 months’ time. Solution:

iBorderless implemented SOX and implemented Financials and Supply Chain modules based on HONAAR model – H-Hosting, O- Offshoring, N-Near shoring, A- Accelerated, A-Analytics and R – Regulatory Compliance.

Impact:

Non-accelerated Filer – a Draft Brewing Company was SOX compliant and using Oracle ERP for its financials and supply chain module and analytics implemented.

Issues:

The Federal Agency’s logistics division with $16 Billion Strategic Inventory wanted to switch from Project Based System with challenges to Warehouse Management System to improve operational effectiveness. The massive sitting dynamic inventory required to be successfully migrated from project-based locator structure to a Warehouse based locator structure.

FIREFIGHTER.AI IN ACTION

Eliminating & Controlling Wildfires
Direct and Indirect Control

Native Americans are used to Smokey the Bear to prevent forest fires. Firefighters lighting fires, instead of spraying water can create confusion. "Why make it bigger?” Deliberately lit fire during wildfire is a very important weapon in the firefighter's arsenal.

Direct Control

Suppresses the fire through pouring water, retardant adjacent to or directly onto the fire from helicopters, airtankers or hoses. Direct control works best on smaller fires or slow burning fires and is also used when people and structures are at immediate risk.

Direct control is less effective and extremely dangerous on large, active fires. Extreme fire behavior is usually accompanied by high winds, blowing embers, high temperatures, unpredictable air currents, and massive amounts of smoke. This may create situations that are too risky for ground and aerial attack.

Indirect Control

Indirect control establishes a fireguard in the path of the fire and takes advantage of favorable terrain and natural firebreaks. The fireguard is created by physically removing fuels or through coating fuel with retardants to reduce its flammability. With the fireguard established, the unburned fuels between the guard and the wildfire are burned out, when conditions allow, using hand drip torches or by aerial ignition with drip torches or ping-pong balls filled with self-igniting chemicals.

Burning out allows fire managers to choose the time and place that the fuels get burned rather than remaining at the whim of fire behavior and weather. Indirect control is used when there is space and time to establish an extensive fireguard. It is sometimes the only way to protect structures in the fire's path.

Fires may also be lit to create air currents in order to draw the main fire, smoke and lofted embers toward or away from some areas.

Prescribed Fire

Prescribed fire to restore the health of ecosystems. These planned fires also remove build-ups of forest fuels and provide protection against future wildfires.
